Only a hand-ful of skeins are available!  Plus locally-made and ready-to-dye sock blanks, sock boxes from Fibreyla, and new stock from Lichen & Lace!   While at the Women's Institute Art and Craft Sale shop from over 200 vendors who will be selling everything from crafts, stained glass, paintings, clothing, hats, wood products, and outdoor furniture, to wind chimes, pottery, jewellery, soap, toys and more! Portsmouth Arts Market

Shop the #yarntruck on Saturday 22 July! There's a new arts market here in Kingston, and Purlin' J's is there this Saturday, with lots of new goodies onboard! First off, the hotly-anticipated Purlin' J's sock blanks will be onboard. Each is literally a blank canvas, upon which you can create your own uniquely-dyed fingering-weight yarn! Learn more about how sock blanks work here. Plus, you'll have lots of Lichen & Lace superwash worsted to choose from, as a new order has just arrived from New Brunswick! The Portsmouth Arts Market is in Aberdeen Park, the little park north of King Street, across from the Olympic Harbour. The yarntruck is open 9am to 5pm Saturday 22 July.

ArtFest in City Park, 1-3 July

The yarntruck is in a new location in City Park for this year's three-day ArtFest. New onboard is Riverside Studio's single merino worsted (pictured), plus Purlin' J's own custom-engraved Kollage square needles. Try them out onboard and experience the difference! Have you seen Find Your Fade, Free Your Fade and So Faded on Ravelry? Lil Dorothy is fully stocked with lots of hand-dyed fingering so you can find your fade! Purlin' J's also has small cakes of hand-dyed speckled fingering so you can add to your gradient without having to purchase a full skein. PEC FibreFest 27 May

Tomorrow, Saturday May 27th, is the first ever Prince Edward County FibreFest, and the yarntruck will be there! Shop from dozens of diverse vendors carrying fibre, felted garments, hand-dyed wool, fleece, yarns and so much more! You can take a class in felting, spinning, knitting, and button-making! And you can visit with fuzzy fibre friends including alpacas, sheep and rabbits! Plus sheep-shearing demonstrations and food trucks. $5 admission. Children 12 & under free. Day of the Pig, May 21

The yarntruck is open this Sunday May 21 in Sharbot Lake! It's the annual Day of the Pig food and drink festival, brought to you by Seed to Sausage. Previous iterations were held at their Tichborne location but due to consistently increased attendance, they're switching things up for this year's event. First of all, it's at Sharbot Lake beach (1021 Medical Centre Road) and also there's an admission charge for adults. But your favourite chefs, wineries and craft breweries from Ottawa and Eastern Ontario are back, plus there's lots more entertainment and stuff for the kids!
