Hibernation for the yarntruck

Apologies, but Lil Dorothy, the yarntruck, does not like snow. It accumulates! So she has decided to go into hibernation in advance of the Fat Goose Craft Fair on Sunday December 1. You will see her again in the spring! In the meantime, save the date, Dec 14, and come to Stitch By Stitch (550 Days Road, Kingston) for some holiday treats and all Koigu yarn 15% off! Yarntruck and Stephanie Earp on Saturday Nov 23

On Saturday November 23, join Montreal-based knitwear designer Stephanie Earp for a workshop on how to make your own knitted clock!  In this workshop, we’ll go over the basic techniques required to knit this pattern, including tips for working stranded colourwork, the backward loop increase (and its merits compared to other increases) and measuring gauge. Then the fun starts, as we get out our coloured pencils and design a unique chart using the blank chart provided in the pattern, or choose colours for the existing charts. Needle Arts Fair is Sat 5 October!

Shop the Purlin' J's yarntruck this Saturday from 10am - 3pm at the Needle Arts Fair! This annual event is hosted by the Cataraqui Guild of Needle Arts and takes place at the Senior's Centre, 56 Francis Street, Kingston, Ontario.The yarntruck will be parked in the north parking lot.
