Good designs but no excitement

Thank you, Purlin’J, for making the Rowan Magazine available.

I am a big fan of Rowan yarns and designs, and enjoyed looking through this latest catalogue. The patterns were nice, but on the whole the selection lacked excitement and was very conservative — with the exception of Kaffe Fassett’s Persimmon patterned throw. I realize that there was a retro slant for some designs, but where are the summer colours and livelier warm weather fashions? There was a very subdued colour palate, and the same v-neck shape was repeated often. I expect more creativity from Rowan!
