Rowan's Kidsilk Haze combines the soft halo of super kid mohair with the vibrant shine of silk in one incredible yarn that is loved by knitters. Kidsilk Haze can be used with a variety of needle sizes to create different effects and styles. Used alongside other yarns it takes on an almost magical quality.
70% Mohair, 30% Silk. 25g ball. 210m. Gauge: 18 - 25 sts and 23 -34 rows over 10cm using 3.25 mm - 5 mm needles.

I recently picked up Rowan Kidsilk Haze from Pearlin’ J, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. This laceweight blend of mohair and silk feels so luxurious, creating the softest, lightest fabric with that beautiful halo we all love. I’ve been working with it both on its own and held double with another yarn, and it’s amazing how much warmth, texture, and depth it adds to a project.
Knitting with a single strand does take a little getting used to because it’s so delicate and airy, but that’s also what makes it perfect for floaty garments, elegant shawls, and wraps. Pearlin’ J always makes the experience even better... the selection is inspiring, and the service is so friendly. I’m already planning my next project with this yarn!
I paired this yarn with West Yorkshire Spinners Signature sock yarn. I knit a beautiful warm torque.

This is a lovely yarn to work with! Soft, not too “sticky” with a pretty halo. I used it in a KAL as a substitution.
