Noro Akeboshi

Named for the “morning star,” Akeboshi evokes that fleeting moment before sunrise, when the sky is still shadowed but the first hints of colour begin to break through. Deep, grounded tones form the foundation of the yarn, while lively flecks and shifting strands of colour appear unexpectedly throughout, like sparks of light scattered across the early morning sky.

The result is a fabric with remarkable depth, movement, and the unmistakable artistry of Noro. A luxurious blend of 85% wool and 15% silk gives Akeboshi warmth and substance, balanced by the soft lustre and fluidity of silk. Its gently varied texture adds dimension to even the simplest stitches.

15% Silk, 85% Wool. 150gr/270m per ball. Gauge: 13 - 15 stitches over 10cm/4 in. using 5.50-8.00 mm needles. Made in Japan.
