The Grand Prize draw prize is courtesy of Estelle Yarns and is a swift and jumbo ball winder! The prize is mailed to the winner after the draw, which takes place the evening of 29 July 2023 in Kingston, Ontario. Winners do not need to be present in order to win.
Didn't have a chance to visit all the shops during the Hop? You could still win secondary prize draws! Secondary prize draws take place 29 July 2023 in Kingston. While you need not be present in order to win, you must pick up your prize as it will not be mailed.

How to submit your completed (or partially completed) LOYH passport:
You may submit your passport anytime between the period of 21-29 July to one of the seven participating LOYH shops. Ensure your complete name and email address is included when you hand in your passport. All passports submitted are checked for prize eligibility and entered in the appropriate draw. The deadline to submit your passport is 4 pm EST Saturday 29 July 2023.
LOYH passport holders are invited to a book-signing with Canadian author, teacher, and designer, Kate Atherley! Details regarding this event are included in the LOYH passport.
The Lake Ontario Shawl pattern (by Kingston, ON knit designer Jennifer Anderson) is a triangular shawl with both a colour fade and an eyelet lace progression. The shawl includes a written pattern, charts and a schematic.
A portion of your pattern/passport purchase is donated to the registered charity Swim Drink Fish Canada, who works at the confluence of water, people, and storytelling, using community science, technology, and communications to connect people to water.
