Milford, PEC, then Cheerfully Made, Almonte

It's a busy weekend for Lil Dorothy, Purlin' J's yarntruck. On Saturday November 5 she's in Prince Edward County at the Jackson's Falls Inn in Milford (1768 County Rd. #17) from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.  Then, on Sunday, November 6, plan to attend the Cheerfully Made Holiday Market (formerly Handmade Harvest Craft Show) from 10am to 4pm at the Almonte Old Town Hall (15 Bridge Street.) The show happens on Saturday as well, but the yarntruck appears on Sunday only. Admission is $2, kids under 16 are free. Parking is free. Free Swag Bags filled with goodies go to the first 50 shoppers in line each day!

Women's Expo, St. Lawrence College, Kingston

If you've been waiting to get yourself or a friend one of Purlin' J's exclusive yarn advent calendars featuring Koigu KPPPM/KPM, this is the weekend to pick one up! We'll have several of the calendars gift-wrapped and ready to give. The wrapping paper is so pretty, we planned our display around it! That's right, because on Saturday October 29, you can shop inside at the Purlin' J's pop-up shop at the Kingston Women's Expo!  The Kingston Women's Expo brings together local women-owned businesses, or offering services to women - from spas to insurance - for a fun day of exhibits, demonstrations, sampling, shopping, and networking! LumberJack and Jane Fest, PEC, Oct 22

APPEARANCE CANCELLED. The event itself continues as scheduled. Shop the yarntruck at Prince Edward County's first ever lumberjack-themed festival on Saturday October 22! It happens inside and outside The Hayloft Dancehall in beautiful Prince Edward County. Your $10 ticket includes entrance to the event from 2-8pm. Games, beer, cider, kids activities, competitions, Caesars, food trucks, vendors (yarntruck!) and merch! Yes, #ILoveYarnDay is a thing! And Purlin' J's is celebrating! Shop the yarntruck on Saturday and Sunday, October 15 and 16, and enter your name in the draw to win a gift basket of yarn and goodies valued at $100. Just come aboard and fill out a ballot! Needle Arts Fair October 1

Shop the yarntruck this Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 10am to 3pm at the Senior's Centre, 56 Francis Street in Kingston, for the Needle Arts Fair! Hosted by the Cataraqui Guild of Needle Arts, the Needle Arts Fair features exhibits, demonstrations, and over 20 vendors from Ontario and Quebec, including the yarntruck! See Guild members' work, an exhibition of purses and bags from the Embroidery Association of Canada’s Collection, and a special display of felted sculptures by Gesina Laird-Buchanan. Admission to the Fair is $5. Silent Auction! Door Prizes! Lunch is available onsite.  Visit the yarntruck at the north end of the building.
